Proofreading: 20 cents per word

 

Copy editing: 30 cents per word

Proofreading and style formatting and improvements in style, clarity and grammar. This is for formatted theses dissertations that have already been edited by an advisor

 

Line editing: 40 cents per word

Copy editing as well as improvements in style, transitions, academic register and information flow. This is suitable for drafts and theses and dissertations that are being prepared for publication, are about to be filed or have not yet been read by an advisor.

 

Design: Rates are variable depending on the scope of work.

 

Indexing: $1000 for a 300-page book

 

Files submitted should either be in .doc or .docx file format.

 

The above rates are for a one week (seven day) turnaround. Rush jobs are billed at a higher rate.
